Ocean County Mascot Madness Round 1 Update Two

We set a challenge out there, and boy has Ocean County responded! After a full week of voting, we've received over 12,000 votes for Ocean County Mascot Madness. We still have a few days left to vote on round one, but here's what things are looking like as I write this:

Now, if you take a look back at our last update, on Wednesday, you'll see that there has been a ton of activity!

The top four on Wednesday, in order, were TR South, TR East, Lakewood, and Donovan Catholic.

Well, in the time since then, Toms River East has "raided" the ballot box to blast out to a commanding lead, and Point Borough has showed that they are a force to be reckoned with by cracking the top three!

Now, the voting will continue through the weekend, but the first cuts will be made on Monday.

If round two started right now though, the top 8 would be:

Toms River East Raiders

Toms River South Indians

Point Pleasant Borough Panthers

Lakewood Piners

Donovan Catholic Griffins

Central Regional Golden Eagles

Toms River North Mariners

Brick Township Green Dragons

I can't emphasize enough, if you just look at the moves that have taken place since Wednesday, it's still anybody's game!
