Judge Marquis Jones, 53, was disciplined today by order of the New Jersey Supreme Court, which also ordered him to complete an alcohol treatment program.

A complaint claimed that the married father of two inappropriately touched five female probation officers and a female worker in a Toms River bar during the party given by the Probation Association of New Jersey.

Through his attorney, Jones denied "intentional, inappropriate" contact but contended that he could not recall the events because he was intoxicated.

Jones is one of 21 judges assigned to the Ocean County vicinage.
