It's a season of celebrations, but police across Ocean County are reminding people not to get behind the wheel after too much celebrating.

The Point Pleasant Police Department is just one of the departments statewide that are participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign that starts today, December 7th, and runs through the rest of the year.

With both increased patrols and checkpoints throughout the state, a press release by the Point Pleasant Police points to the nearly 10% increase in impaired driving during the holiday season.
