Ocean County Gas Prices Up

Unrest a half a world away is causing prices to escalate at the gas pumps around Ocean County.

The price at the pump is up more than 11 cents a gallon in the past week at $3.26, according to the Chicago-based Gas Buddy organization. Analysts cite Iran's threat to close the Strait Of Hormuz - a vital oil shipping lane. The national average is $3.34, up about 8 cents.
