Help adopt animals this Valentines Day

“Find the love of your life this Valentine’s Day and make it an extra special occasion. Let the Ocean County Animal Facilities play matchmaker and unite you with the perfect cat or dog your heart’s been aching for” ~ Ocean County Freeholder Gerry P. Little, Liaison to the Ocean County Board of Health.

Beginning Thursday, February 14, through Sunday, February 17, adopt any senior pet or other select pets, including some of the Sandy survivors left homeless due to the storm, and they’ll waive the adoption fee. The homeless pets have been patiently waiting for a new home at one of our shelters. In addition, all of their animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. Their volunteer friends will even throw in a starter kit full of treats and other pet goodies.

So if you are looking for love, then look no further than the Ocean County Animal Facilities this Valentine’s Day.

The Northern Ocean County Animal Facility is located at 615 Freemont Avenue in Jackson and the Southern Ocean County Animal Facility is located at 360 Haywood Road in Manahawkin. Adoption hours are 1:00 to 4:00 pm daily and until 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings. For more information about this special adoption event, please call 732-657-8086 (Jackson) or 609-978-0127 (Manahawkin).....
