OCC Instructor Robbed – Police Seek Help to ID Suspect

A thief who stole cash and credit cards from an unsuspecting teacher at Ocean County College in the middle of May continues to elude Toms River Police. Now, they ask if you recognize their suspect.

According to authorities, the 60-year-old woman left her purse in her office on May 12. Several hours later her credit card company called to ask about transactions that appeared unusual and possibly unauthorized.

Her card bought items in a Toms River 7-11 as well as a bus ticket to Atlantic City along with several attempted purchases that were rejected, police said.

The suspect seen in surveillance images is described as a black male in his 40s with a mustache and glasses.
