OC Natural Lands Trust Advisory Committee Chair Given the Boot

The Chairwoman of the Ocean County Natural Lands Trust Advisory Committee speaks out after she was removed from her post. According to the Asbury Park Press, 58-year-old Theresa Lettman of Manchester accuses the Ocean County Board of Freeholders of dismissing her because she criticized them over environmental policy. Lettman says the disagreement centered around plans to construct a crosswind runway at the Robert J. Miller Airpark in Berkeley Township, which was recently approved by the State Pinelands Commission.
