This past weekend I did something that I haven't done in about 20 years...I went to Medieval Times

Honestly, it started as a half joke. For my birthday this past weekend I was trying to think of something to do. I've been out with friends in New York plenty of times and, honestly, I'm a little afraid of Atlantic City (or at least what my wallet looks like after Atlantic City). So I thought, ya know what, I want to go to Medieval Times, darn it!

I didn't bring kids. I didn't go with my parents. Nope, it was a bunch of adults watching horses and actors fake-fighting.

And you know what? It was a ton of fun.

It was corny, it was cheesy, it was goofy. But after the fact I thought, you know for what we'd pay to go to a Broadway show, you get two hours worth of entertainment and you get food (plenty of food. They feed you quite well at Medieval Times).

So what the heck, hit Medieval Times some time you just feel like doing something goofy with friends. It's close and it's a good night out. And if you go with friends with good senses of humor, when you step away for a few minutes they may sneakily arrange for this to be announced in the middle of the show:
