Noisy Cicadas Are Back In Ocean County

This summer has been hot, muggy, and stormy so far, and now it's getting noisy as well.

In the last two weeks or so you may have noticed an addition to the summer crickets, frogs, and other seasonal critters.

Yes, the cicadas are back.

We may not be seeing (and hearing!) the explosion of bugs that some parts of the country are, but that familiar buzz can still be heard throughout our area.
