No Jail Time in the Sammy the Cocker Spaniel Neglect Case

A Brick couple wins their appeal and gets no jail time for in the Sammy the Cocker Spaniel animal cruelty and neglect case. According to the Asbury Park Press, Keith Morgan was sentenced to 90 days house arrest and Shauna Kennedy-Morgan to a year probation Tuesday afternoon. The couple had faced six months of jail each until an Ocean County Superior Court Judge in Toms River overturned the sentence over health concerns. The couple was free on bail during the appeal.
