No foul play suspected in death outside Ocean County Mall

A man found dead in a car outside the Ocean County Mall today appears not to have been a victim of foul play, according to Toms River Police.

The body was found in a 2014 Toyota parked near Boscov's by security officers, who reported it to police at 12:20 PM.

Police said that the body displayed no external signs of trauma. They believe that it is an individual who was reported missing April 22, a Toms River resident who had struggled with depression and medical issues.

An autopsy is being arranged to establish the cause and manner of death. The investigation is being conducted by Toms River PD Detective Randy Petrick.
