Entry-level positions will also be covered by staffers during the fair, 10 AM until 3 PM in the DEP headquarters, 401 East State Street.

It's a chance for students to increase awareness of the many directions that their degrees can take the, according to DEP Commissioner Bob Martin.

"Our staff looks forward to engaging the next generation of scientists and engineers about the different program areas within DEP, and how their contributions to the environmental sciences can make a difference in the lives of others, and in serving the State of New Jersey."

Information will be available in connection with 20 areas, including clerical, budgeting, engineering, software development, State Park Police, human resources and more.

Staffers in environmental justice, information technology, human resources, Division of Science, Research and Environmental Health, and the Ambassadors Watershed Program will be on site.

Registration in advance is not required. Students should bring resumes, and be prepared to submit copies to staffers in areas that specifically interest them.

DEP Headquarters is a block away from NJ Transit's Trenton Transportation depot. See directions here. Parking spaces will be set aside on Perry Street, alongside the city fire department, with shuttles to and from the fair.
