NJ was key to a senior couple’s epic Cracker Barrel mission
New Jersey has six Cracker Barrel restaurants, which were all part of one couple's 40-year journey. Ray and Wilma Yoder now have visited every single one of the popular chain restaurants and country stores. That's more than 640 locations in 44 states!
On Monday, the Yoders stopped by their final Cracker Barrel store in Oregon. Ray told the crowd, "Everybody has a hobby and that's what we chose to do." The Indiana natives made it their mission while making a living delivering RVs to dealerships nationwide.
NJ's Cracker Barrels are scattered around the state, in Pennsville, Mount Laurel, Mount Holly, Hamilton Township, Clinton and Mount Arlington. The next time you visit one, you could see if someone will make you a Yoder 'secret menu' item, a cider float. (It does sound tasty!)
Ray and Wilma are also big fans of the chain's blueberry pancakes and potato casserole. You can watch the duo visit their final stop (for now!) in the video below:
Proud Jersey Girl Erin Vogt’s first reporting gig involved her Fisher Price tape recorder. As a wife and momma of two kiddies, she firmly believes that life’s too short to drink bad coffee. A fan of the beach, Dave Grohl and karma, in no particular order.
