Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey on Friday was $3.29, down 2 cents from last week. That's also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.76, and marks the ninth straight week that prices have fallen in New Jersey.

Meanwhile, the national average price remained at $3.51 for the second straight week. That's much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.83.

Analysts say the falling prices are due to lower crude oil prices, less demand for gas from drivers, increased domestic production and continued signs of global and domestic economic weakness.
