New Route 37 Walmart A Step Closer

Toms River could soon have that Super Walmart in the township.

Reports say a settlement was reached between developers and the DEP. The complex would sit on Route 37 on the border of Toms River and Manchester.

Environmentalists say they will continue to block it due to pine snakes (pictured) on the proposed site. Officials have vowed to build a fence to protect the snakes.
