New photo released of missing Maryland college student from Toms River
The University of Maryland Police Department has released a new photo of missing student 21-year-old Kaitlyn George of Toms River.
A security video image shows George entering the Baltimore Greyhound bus station on November 11, 2016, at around 11:32 a.m., one day after she failed to show up to meet a friend for a camping trip.
An update on the investigation posted on the campus police department's website says George purchased a ticket and at around 1:33 p.m., boarded a bus that was headed to Norfolk, Virginia. The bus also was scheduled to stop at Union Station in Washington, D.C., Richmond, Virginia, and Hampton, Virginia.
Foul play is not suspected, according to police. Investigators are continuing to follow up on tips and leads. Anyone with information on George's whereabouts is urged to call the University of Maryland Police Department at 301-405-3555.
