TRENTON — A contingent of those already honored with a Turnpike service area, a "Seinfeld" star, astronaut brothers and a TV president are among the 50 nominees for the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Voting began Wednesday at the Hall of Fame website to whittle the list down to those who will be inducted into the Hall during a ceremony May 7 at Convention Hall in Asbury Park.

  • "Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander from Newark
  • "Live" host Kelly Ripa from Stratford
  • Businessman Steve Forbes
  • Late Princeton mathematician John Nash
  • Late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia from Trenton
