It's National Women's Health Week, and every day this week I will write a blog about you and me celebrating our health.National Women's Health Week brings together communities, businesses, government, health organizations, and other groups in an effort to promote women's health and its importance. It also empowers women to make their health a priority and encourages them to to improve their physical and mental health and lower their risks of certain diseases.  There are 5 steps the US Health Department would like every woman to do this week.  Every day I'll give you 1 step.

The third step to a healthier you...Eat Healthier!

How are you going to do this today?  I'm a big salad eater, but today I'm going to eat the darker greens.  I love my iceberg lettuce..but today a little healthier.  And I love my creamy dressings, I know -- so bad for me, but today a vinaigrette. 

What are you going to eat healthier today..maybe more fruit, or an extra veggie?
