It's National Women's Health Week, and every day this week I will write a blog about you and me celebrating our health.National Women's Health Week brings together communities, businesses, government, health organizations, and other groups in an effort to promote women's health and its importance.  It also empowers women to make their health a priority and encourages them with their physical and mental health and lowers their risks of certain diseases.  There are 5 steps the US Health Department would like every woman to do this week.  Everyday I'll give you 1 step.

The second step to a healthier you....Get Active!

I plan on walking to the grocery store today and walking to get my daughter from school.  How are you going to get active today?  Maybe just walking up and down the steps?  How about parking in a parking spot away from the store you're going into..and walk a little further to get into the store.
