Nathan’s Famous In Toms River Has Closed

As of today, unfortunately Toms River will have one less dining option as the Nathan's Famous in Silverton has closed its doors.

The much loved hot dog chain opened their doors at their Hinds Road location earlier this year, but a challenging location looks like it may have contributed to the classic brand's difficulties despite good reviews.

The restaurant was right next to the corner of Church Road and Hooper Avenue, one of the most traveled areas of the county, but tucked behind Walgreen's in a plaza that doesn't really have much signage on either Hooper or Church.

It's sad to see Nathan's leave Ocean County once again, but if you're craving their famous hot dogs and crinkle cut fries, you just have to hop on the Parkway and head up to the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets to get your fix!
