Mysterious Device Evacuated Atlantic City Airport

Late this afternoon, Atlantic City International Airport was forced to clear the building when a mysterious package was spotted.

Unlike the hoax "swatting" incidents that we've seen in the last year or so, where anonymous pranksters call in bogus bomb threats, this time there was an actual package located.

According to 6ABC in Philadelphia, New Jersey State Police confirmed that, "an organic material had been detected, which could be explosive."

As of right now, officials say that, "the situation is under control" and haven't offered any further details on the nature of the package.
