Motorcyclist Injured In Hit-And-Run Parkway Crash

State police say a motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on the Garden State Parkway in Lakewood.

The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on the southbound ramp at Exit 88.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was riding through the exit when his bike collided with a sport utility vehicle, which then fled the scene.

The motorcyclist suffered a leg injury and was being treated at a hospital, but further details on his condition were not disclosed.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
