Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Manchester Crash

Manchester police are investigating an accident that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital Friday night.

Officers say Paul Bogaski, 49, of Bristol, PA, was riding east on Commonwealth Boulevard in the Pine Lake Park section of the township at approximately 7:15pm when he was struck by a Toyota Highlander driven by Darren Bari, 23, of Manchester.  Bari appears to have been trying to make a left-turn into a residential driveway at the time of the crash.

Bogaski was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment of his injuries; Bari did not report any injuries and refused medical treatment.  Commonwealth Boulevard was closed between Burnside and Pemberton Streets while emergency crews cleared the accident scene.
