A Manchester woman suffered neck and shoulder injuries after losing control on a curve on Pasadena Road in the Township and being thrown from her motorcycle Sunday afternoon, according to police.

It happened shortly after 1:30 p.m., at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard in the Whiting section of the Township.

Authorities said Debra Fischer, 54, was ejected when the motorcycle tires made contact with loose dirt on the shoulder. She was wearing a helmet. Fischer was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

Assisting at the scene were members of Quality Medical Transport as well as paramedics from MONOC.

The accident remains under investigation by Patrolman Ian Bole from the Manchester Township Police Traffic Safety Section.
