New Jersey will end the year with its second snow event in the past week.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Saturday beginning at 6AM for most of the state except Atlantic & Cape May counties.  Snowfall from this fast moving system should begin around dawn Saturday morning and spread north, leaving 3-5 inches of snow before ending Saturday evening.

Lesser amounts will fall in southern and central counties with more falling over the western areas of Hunterdon, Morris,Warren and Sussex counties.

The rain will mix with and change to rain in Salem County but stay all snow elsewhere. No sleet, freezing rain or ice is expected.

In addition, tides will be running higher because of the Full Moon but no coastal flooding issues are expected.
