Lauren, a local high school student, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June of 2011 and has been receiving treatment over the last year. She is only 17 years old. After a very brief remission, she has relapsed and it was recently confirmed that it is in her bone marrow. It is aggressive and she is now in the fight of her life. A group of family & friends have organized a swabbing to find a matching donor on Saturday, February 11th from 10am - 4pm at American Legion - Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor. Lauren currently attends Pinelands Regional High School …. Please try to help and get tested to see if you’re a match….

The Jackson Memorial Band Parents Association is sponsoring a “Calendar-Raffle” as part of their ongoing  fund raising efforts to send the students to the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade …All proceeds go directly to Jackson Memorial Band Parents Association Travel Fund.  The deadline for purchasing calendars will be March 31st .
