Monmouth methamphetamine dealer heads to prison

A Monmouth County man who pleaded guilty to federal drug charges is sentenced to seven years, three months in prison.

Theodore Santaguida, 42, of Ocean Township, was handed the term in Trenton for his guilty plea to possession 162 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to information from the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

Federal agents and local police seized the stash during a raid of his apartment on December 23, 2014.

Santaguida was also ordered to serve three years supervised release after completing his term.
