Monmouth Executive Airport is Under New Ownership

The Monmouth Executive Airport is now in the hands of a new owner. The Wall Township site was purchased by Wall Aviation LLC. According to Wall Patch.com Wall Aviation had been in negotiations to buy the 645-acre airport for over a dozen years and had completed portions of the sale months ago.  The airport was privately owned by Ed Brown and later his family for 75 years.

Reports say the transaction could mean big changes at the airport with several businesses that currently rent space being asked to leave, along with infrastructure and security upgrades.

Along with the purchase, Wall Aviation has reportely agreed to pick up the remaining cost of a hazardous materials cleanup.
