MODC Sets Up Space Exchange for Displaced Organizations
Hurricane Sandy’s wrath left numerous nonprofit agencies and organizations scrambling for temporary office or commercial space to carry on operations.
Many of them have approached the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council in Wall Township. Executive Director Ben Waldron has devised a way to meet the need.
Business operators with any type of space available for short-term use are being urged to pitch in by contacting the MODC with details and contact information.
MODC is collaborating with United Way to disseminate the accrued information in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
The business collective is also opening up its own office space for members to charge devices, place calls, access the Internet and send faxes.
Reach the MODC office on line at http://www.modc.com or call 732-751-8696. It’s in the Monmouth Shores Office Complex, 4814 Outlook Drive in Wall.
