If you had to step inside a voting booth today, would you know who to choose?  That's where the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council comes in.

They plan to host their annual candidates lunch this Friday in Neptune and business leaders and the general public is invited to attend.

With Election Day less than two months away, sometimes knowing who to vote for can be tricky.  There are so many issues and things to take into consideration.  Each year, the MODC welcomes candidates to the microphone so they can address the crowd and take direct questions.  It is an excellent way to network and get up close and personal with someone who may be your next leader.

MODC Executive Director Ben Waldron says "we've been doing these events for as long as I can remember and each year they grow in popularity.  We always change up the guest list so we can get different perspectives."

This time, all of the Congressional and County candidates from Ocean and Monmouth Counties have been invited to attend.  Not everyone can make it.  In fact, Democrat Robert Menendez won't be able to make it so he's sending Marlboro Mayor Jonathan Hornik to speak on behalf of the Democrats.  Menendez's opponent this November, Republican Senator Joe Kyrillos, will be there.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.

The cost  $39 MODC Members, $54 Non-members, $100 Exhibitor (members only - includes 1 luncheon admission)
