PERTH AMBOY — Two children who were reported missing Friday night were returned home Saturday.

But police said they are still looking for the 48-year-old man they were last seen with on Friday.

Police are on the lookout for Frank John — described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 200 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was driving a silver Toyota Highlander with New Jersey plates J80GVE.

The Woodbridge resident has been charged with kidnapping 8-year-old Keira Grewal and Gianno Grewal, 9, who had last been seen with him 4 p.m. Friday in this Middlesex County city.

Investigators say he picked up the children to take them out for food but didn't bring them back home until 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday — hours after police had put out an alert for the children.

Police on Saturday did not release other details, including the man's relationship to the children.
