A staggering stash of weapons are found in a dwelling in Monmouth's Ocean Township.

An unlicensed assault rifle, silencer, stun gun and hollow point ammo are among the 130 items that Ocean Township police say they seized during the arrest of George Riley, 59, on August 15, authorities said.

Also in the cache are pepper spray, a bayonet and 38 high-capacity magazines, police said.

According to information released by Ocean Township police, Riley rents living space at the Sunset Avenue address.

The discovery unfolded after officers responded to a call by the property owner at about 6:50 PM, police said. An individual performing work at the site reported being accosted by a man with a gun, police said.

The alleged victim claimed that Riley whipped out a handgun and ordered the site vacated.

Riley was released to await court proceedings after posting $50,000 bail with a ten-percent option. He's charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, possession of an assault firearm without a license, possession of a firearm silencer, possession of hollow-nose bullets, possession of pepper spray, reckless endangerment, possession of high-capacity ammunition magazines and possession of a stun gun.
