Midweek Mascot Madness Championship Analysis

As Ocean County Mascot Madness has progressed, I've given midweek analysis updates every Wednesday. I don't want to break tradition but, to be honest, the graphic below speaks for itself:

I don't want to brag on behalf of Ocean County, but as of right now, we're pretty much schooling Monmouth County on local spirit.

As of right now, 5:30pm on Wednesday afternoon, the Toms River East Raiders are way ahead of the Howell Rebels by a margin of 76% to 23%.

But, I want to caution everyone, don't forget what happened in Round Two - the Donovan Catholic Griffins were leading the Lakewood Piners all week. Then, as the weekend approached, Piner Nation flocked to their web browsers and sent the Griffins home in a last minute upset.

So, while Ocean County pride may be on display, I'd also say that we shouldn't rest on our laurels. Let's keep the voting going to put our Monmouth County rivals in a hole that they won't be able to climb out of!
