Sylvia is wanting her forever home!

Sylvia is a beautiful 5 year old coonhound who is looking for a fresh start in life with a family that will give her all of the love and care that she deserves. Sylvia did not get very good care in her former home, and was one of many dogs that we took in from a hoarding situation where the dogs were living in awful and filthy conditions. Sylvia and friends were quite traumatized by their former life but after many weeks of work, we have gotten Sylvia ready to meet new people. Sylvia had more confidence than most right from the start and she absolutely loves people. She's a big leaner, and once she knows you, she just wants to lean on you for some attention. Sylvia walks very well on a leash and is well behaved, gentle and polite. She is very mild-mannered, quiet and easy going, but new things and loud noises do still tend to startle her. She gets along well with other dogs that are easy going and calm. Sylvia will need an experienced family and there will be requirements for adopting her and any of her friends, which will be reviewed when you come to meet her. Sylvia is an absolute love and deserves the best home ever. If you can give her that, come in and meet her.
