Middle- and high-school girls mapping out plans for college, and for life in the real world, can benefit from the experiences of women of achievement in a broad range of professions, tonight in Toms River.


Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore invite teens, accompanied by adults, to the town-hall-style career forum, 6:30 PM in the Girl Scouts' Ocean Service Center, 1405 Old Freehold Road.

The entry fee is $5, and membership in Girl Scouts is not required.

The list of prospective attendees includes:

Admissions counselors from Ocean County College, Georgian Court University, Brookdale Community College, and Rowan University are also scheduled to be on hand.
