He's looking for a forever home!  It's our Pet of the Week from The Popcorn Park Zoo.

This gorgeous young man is Mongo, a 6 year old mastiff that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Mongo was picked up as a stray and when his owner was located and called, he never came in to get him. How anyone could give up this sweetheart is just unimaginable! Mongo is truly a gentle giant, in every sense of the phrase. Mongo is a big boy, but he is one of the most gentle you will ever meet. Mongo is calm, easy going, and very well behaved. He is a bit nervous when he meets new people but once he sees he can trust you, he warms up, swishes his big tail back and forth, and leans into you for some petting. Mongo walks very well on a leash and will sit nicely when asked, and also waits patiently to be leashed up for a walk. He doesn't have a ton of interest in toys, but he does enjoy a good romp in our exercise yard. Mongo would prefer a home with no other dogs or very small children. This big, lovable lug is so deserving of a family that will love him forever and never let him go. Please make Mongo's dreams come true!
