Meet Josie and Belly-Shawn & Sue’s Pet of the Week

These beautiful young ladies are Josie and Belly, two best friends that would love a great home of their own. Josie, a 3 year old brown and white boxer/pit mix, and Belly, a 2 year old black pit mix, came to us when their owner tossed them out in the street when he no longer wanted them. A passerby that found the dogs shivering and crying in the street took them in, and then they went through several channels before making it safely to us. The girls are so happy to be warm, safe and cared for now, and are looking forward to starting over in a loving new home. They are very bonded with each other, so we will be looking for a home for them together. Both girls are very outgoing, friendly, and lovable. Josie is the motherly one of the pair, and likes to check things out new situations where Belly jumps right in something new, and is happy with whatever is going on. The girls are spunky, sweet, and well behaved. They have a lot of energy and would love a home with a yard to romp and roam in. They seem to be fine with other dogs and just love people that treat them with kindness. Josie and Belly just want a family that will give them the lifetime of happiness that they deserve.
