Meet Amelia-Shawn & Sue’s Ocean County Pet of the Week

Amelia is a darling little lab mix of about 5 years old that is eager to go off to a great home of her own. Amelia came to the Popcorn Park Zoo from their Newark facility after she was turned in by her family who could not keep her due to landlord issues. After spending her life in a home, Amelia is not used to shelter life, but you can just tell by her smile that she is putting on a brave face and is optimistic that she will get discovered quickly. Amelia has a beautiful and joyous personality that wins you over immediately. She is very outgoing and her sweetness and happiness just bursts forth as she greets new friends with a tail wag and a smile! She is well behaved and ladylike, and she seems just fine with other dogs too. She would make a wonderful addition to any good family that will welcome her and all her bubbly-ness!
