McGreevey Documentary Premieres In Union [VIDEO]

Some 400 people turned out for the New Jersey premiere of a documentary about former Gov. Jim McGreevey.

"Fall to Grace" tells the story of the Democrat's transformation after announcing he was a "gay American" to becoming a spiritual mentor to women incarcerated at the Hudson County jail.

Filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi is the daughter of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The movie was first shown at the Sundance film festival this year.

The audience for Tuesday's premiere in Union included former McGreevey administration staff members and women who benefited from his mentoring program, which provides counseling, addiction treatment and post-release support.

McGreevey is asked in the film which was tougher — being gay or being a politician.

"Tough call," he says, as crows screech overhead.
