The organization is a home where women can receive treatment for cancer and be given a place to rest and be comforted by the staff and so far officials say more than 5,000 people have been welcomed into the beachfront home to date.

The organization has spent the last seven years in just a four bedroom home in Ocean Grove and with the growing number of women coming in, construction began on a new place for women to receive the comfort of emotional support.

"Mary's Place is a place of hospitality that allows women just to relax" said Sister Jo Anne Jones, resident house manager to greenroom communications.

Their new home which looks to open to guests next month has been under construction for nearly a year and a half and upon opening will have the bedroom total rise from four to ten rooms.

"I am grateful that such a place exists," said a former guest of Mary's Place to greenroom communications.

In the middle of all the construction of the new home. Officials say Mary's Place raised more than $183,000 in the 'Revlon Love Is On Million Dollar Challenge', which is a campaign that helps raise awareness for heart disease and diabetes in addition to women's cancers.

"Mary's Place is a place where women can share a sense of community," said a volunteer to greenroom communications.
