21-year-old Kaitlyn George, a Toms River North graduate, was supposed to go on a hiking trip, but failed to show up at Eppley Recreation Center, according to campus police.

Security footage showed George leaving the campus with a camping style backpack and a pink bag on November 10, 2016 and getting into a white taxi cab. Investigators interviewed the driver, who told police she was dropped off in front of a Marine in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City.

Shortly after, security footage appears to show George getting into another waiting vehicle, and SUV, on her own accord and by herself, according to authorities.

Investigators also verified a report from a witness who claimed to see George on a Charm City Circulator bus on November 11, 2016, at about 8:40 a.m..

Authorities said they have not reason to suspect foul play and are continuing to pursue leads. They have been unable to track George's cell phone.

George is described as standing five feet, three inches and weighing 121 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a green long sleeved jacket, and bright colored socks that are mid-calf level.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the University of Maryland Police Department at 301-405-3555.
