Marina Manager Charged with Theft in Brick Township

The business manager of Lightning Jack’s Marina in Brick Township is accused of pocketing at least $20,000 through the company’s bank account.

Suzanne Kenny, 47, of Brick, was released Friday after being charged with theft by deception, according to Brick Township police. Investigators say more charges are expected.

Kenny is accused of writing 40 checks to draw off the company account. Police say the marina owner notified them on January 15 after being alerted by employees of the TD Bank branch on Burnt Tavern Road of a customer trying to cash a check against his business account.

Police are urging anyone with information that might help their probe to reach Detective Michael Bevacqua, 732-262-4612
