As we dig out of this record setting March storm, New Jersey experienced a winter storm in spring that shattered historic numbers.

As we reported earlier this week, the previous record for March 21st at Newark Airport was 5.3" back in 1958, which was easily eclipsed by yesterday's beast of a nor'easter, which the National Weather Service reports dumped 7.9" of snow at the airport.

But that was nothing compared to what we ended up getting here at the shore, where some parts of Ocean County saw well over a foot of accumulation.
