Man’s body found in Jersey Shore park

WALL — A body was found along near Shark River Park on Wednesday.

Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Charles Webster said the corpse was found in the afternoon along Gully Road.  He did not share additional details, including the identity or age of the man.

ABC 7 Eyewitness News reported that the discovery is being investigated as a homicide.

The park is part of the Monmouth County Park System on the Wall/Neptune border.
