Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel says that an autopsy on Kendal Hudgins, 30, of Philadelphia showed cause of death to be mutliple gunshot wounds, and authorities are pursuing the incident as a homicide.

Hudgins was shot about 12:30 AM Sunday on East Riverside Drive, and died about a half-hour later at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.  Michael Davis, 28, and Mahmuwd Hinds, 20, both of Atlantic City, sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in their lower extremities.

This is an ongoing probe. Investigators are urging anyone with information that can help in the capture and conviction of suspects to call the Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit, 609-909-7666.
