Picard is listed in the Manchester Police blotter as having been arrested on September 8, 2016 by Patrolman Steve Wendruff on Broadway Boulevard.

Details of the arrest were unknown, but she was being held in the Ocean County jail on multiple charges, also including weapons offenses and theft.

Picard was located in good health by Pittsburgh Police in May, after she had been reported missing in February from her grandparents' home in Berkeley Township, without an active driver's license or cell phone.

She apparently had been living in western Pennsylvania and was unaware she had been reported missing.
