“Hunger is a very important issue, even in Manchester Township. Too many families, including our neighbors, go hungry each day,” said Chief Parker in prepared remarks. “I’m glad that we were able to partner with Shop-Rite to help raise awareness of those in need.”

The ShopRite in Manchester had asked the police department for assistance in the event on September 21, 2016 as they took part in a national focus on fighting hunger in the community.

The police officers who took part in this day of community outreach are: Ptl. John Decker, Ptl. Michael Terranova, Det. Adam Guker, Ptl. Stephen Hankins, and Ptl. Marc Micciulla.

Members of the township council involved are: President, James Vaccaro Sr., and Manchester Township Council Vice President, Sam Fusaro.
