Dumping leftover construction debris on private property in Berkeley Township brings charges against a Manchester resident.

27-year old Christopher Montanez of Whiting allegedly used his friends truck when he dumped the debris on private property near Grant Concourse Friday January 12.

A license plate had broken off the truck before Montanez took off.

Berkeley Police traced it to the owner who lives in the Forked River of Lacey Township and were informed that the resident inside loaned the truck to his friend.

That's where Manchester Police entered the investigation who left a note for Montanez at his address telling him to contact Berkeley Police.

Montanez went there in person and was charged with illegal dumping.

He was processed and later released on a special complaint summons.

Montanez went back to the site of the dumped debris voluntarily to clean up the mess.
