Manchester Crash Sends Both Drivers to the Hospital

A two car accident at the intersection of County Roads 547 and 571 in Manchester sent both drivers to the hospital Sunday afternoon, according to Township Police.

Authorities said 24-year-old Langston Keaton of Jackson was traveling south on Route 547 around 1:40 p.m. when 84-year-old Charles Gable of Manchester tried to make a left turn in front of him from northbound Route 547.

The impact sent Keaton's Lexus into a utility police on the southwest corner of the intersection. He was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune with neck and chest pain.

Gable was transported to Community Medical Center in Toms River with chest pain.
