Pine Lake Park Burglary Suspect Nabbed

The looting of a house in Manchester's Pine Lake Park section is believed to have been the work of a woman who lives nearby.

The incident was reported to police Wednesday at about 2:43 PM. A caller on the 1200 block of Second Avenue related seeing a woman trying to clamber into a neighboring house through a first-story window. When police arrived, the witness told them that the woman fell from the window and left on foot.

Information gathered through neighborhood canvassing by Detective Adam Guker and Patrolmen Richard Conklin and Michael Steffen led them to Jaime Gallo, 31.

While at her dwelling, a household member reported the disappearance of jewelry and two cell phones, and accused her of taking them, police said. A search revealed several of the items in her possession, along with heroin and drug-related items, police said.

At headquarters, Gallo was also found to be holding 10 decks of heroin, police said. She was charged with two counts of theft, and one count each of burglary, possesion of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic needle.
